A committee of individuals with a variety of knowledge, skills and expertise meet periodically as required to discuss teaching needs, procedures, policies and curriculum. |

Children's Ministries

Our church is dedicated to building a strong church body by nurturing and training our children in the Word of God using exciting teaching methods. During the morning worship hour there are classes for the little ones to worship on their own level. On Wednesday night, we provide very creative programs for all ages. We also offer nursery care during all

College & Career Ministry
|
|
|
The College & Career group at Calvary Bible Church is a diverse group of young people seeking to honor and glorify God in their lives. Each week they meet for Sunday School at 9:30 AM fellowship, prayer and Bible study. They also gather once each month for a social time of fun, food, and fellowship which may include playing games, watching a movie, or whatever;
usually at the home of one of the church members. Please plan to join us!

Lamplighters - Senior Adult Fellowship
|
|
|
Lamplighters is a ministry for senior adults 55 or Better! We meet on the third Thursday of the month September – May, for a luncheon and fellowship time. Each month guest speakers present varied programs of music, spiritual insight, and information. We honor people on their birthdays and anniversaries. We also have door prizes and a lighthearted fun time.

Library
|

This ministry is available to everyone. Records can be searched through our computerized system. We have fiction and non-fiction books (children's/young adult/adult sections) and videos as well as a friendly staff who are happy to answer any of your questions. Becoming a library patron is free. We do ask that you only borrow books for up to three weeks
and videos for one week. We are located next door to the nursery, so be sure to stop by!

Men's Ministries

Following the example of Moses in the Old Testament and Jesus and the apostles in the New Testament, a men’s Bible study ministry has been established to help mentor men in their walk with the Lord. A man’s spiritual and leadership needs are addressed in these studies. The setting is informal with the goal of practical application from God’s Word. Our goal
is to address the issues men are facing today. These Bible studies are scheduled periodically but in an ongoing cycle throughout the year. Contact the church office for the date and time of the next one being taught. In addition, a men's prayer breakfast is held at the church on the first Saturday of every month.

Missionaries & Missions (and Para-church Organizations)

Calvary Bible Church desires to glorify God through the active proclamation of the Gospel to our neighbors, friends, co-workers, relatives, and all people groups around the world. We actively encourage each born-again believer to support the command of Christ to be a witness here, as well as supporting missionaries by prayer, finances, and other forms of
encouragement. Throughout the years, many of our people, youth through adults, have taken part in short term missions trips. One such trip is our annual ministry at the Blueberry Mountain Bible Camp in Weld, Maine. During this week we conduct a Vacation Bible School at a local church in Weld and provide work teams to the camp. Church supported Missionaries.

Music Ministry

The Music Ministry strives to join contemporary choruses and traditional hymns together into a blended worship service that directly points to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Through our various praise teams, choral groups and soloists, we strive to give people appropriate avenues to understand Him better and express their worship to Him!

Outreach/Evangelism

Outreach/Evangelism is a vital part of Calvary Bible Church. It gives us an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Jesus in a variety of ways. We strive to be creative and hope that each experience will be an enjoyable one. We encourage our people to be an active part of this team. By drawing on the talents of each person, we truly
function as one body.

Small Groups
|
|
|
With the intent of following the example and mandate of Acts 2:42, 46, the small group ministry was established to provide a more intimate setting for the study and application of God’s Word. Our goal is to limit group size to twelve participants. The purpose of each group is the development of close and caring relationships through spending time
in Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Groups meet in individual homes located throughout our church community.

Women in the Church

|
A ministry designed to meet the spiritual, emotional and social needs of women. Bible studies are held at convenient times in the fall and spring of each year, with baby-sitting available for the Tuesday morning study. Other activities, such as conferences, community service projects, special holiday events and in-home gatherings offer many opportunities
to grow in the Lord while enjoying fellowship with other women. We love visitors and we would love to see you at a future activity! Please check the calendar for information about upcoming studies and exciting events.

Young Married Couples

Our Young Married Couples have their own Sunday School class and plan monthly activities throughout the year. Whether it's a Valentine's Day dinner, going on a camping trip, taking a hayride, or just getting together for an evening of fun, these couples enjoy encouraging each other in the Lord and having a good time together.

Youth Group

Our Youth Group is full of active teens who meet on Wednesday nights to learn about God's Word and fellowship together. We offer many activities and trips throughout the year.
