Children’s Ministry
KID’s INC. (Kids In Christ)
Our church is dedicated to building a strong church body by nurturing and training our children in the Word of God using exciting teaching methods. During the morning worship hour there are classes for the little ones to worship on their own level. On Wednesday night, we provide very creative programs for all ages. Wednesday
Our children's ministries on Wednesday nights also seek to provide an environment and opportunities for each child to Believe in Christ as Savior, Connect with other Christian children, Grow in Christian maturity, and Serve the Lord.
Wednesday night children's ministries start at 7:00 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. We give parents the option of taking their children home at 8 p.m. to accommodate those who need an earlier bedtime on school nights. Our age groups are Gopher Buddies (2 - 5 year olds) and Olympians (1st - 6th graders). The night consists of worship, pledges, bible lesson, and game. We use the engaging Word of Life curriculum which focuses on Old and New Testament survey as well as the life of Christ. It also provides the opportunity for daily devotions, verse memorization, and Christian service projects.
Sunday
Our children's ministries on Sundays seek to provide an environment and opportunities for each child to Believe in Christ as Savior, Connect with other Christian children, Grow in Christian maturity, and Serve the Lord.
Sunday School Children's Ministries start at 9:30 a.m. and end at 10:30 a.m. Our age groups are 2-4 year olds, 5 year olds, 1st - 2nd graders, and 3rd - 6th graders. We use a Sunday School curriculum which seeks to give our children a rich and deep understanding and appreciation of the word of God. 7th - 12th graders are part of our Youth Ministry.
Sunday Church Time Ministries are grouped as 2-4 year olds, 4-5 year olds and 1st - 6th graders. Our 4 year olds - 6th graders participate in worship with their parents in the sanctuary before being dismissed to their class.
Nursery
Nursery is provided during all of our services for newborns to 2 year olds. Our nursery room is colorful, warm, and safe, as well as fully stocked with engaging toys, books, and games. Our pager system alerts parents if their young child needs them.
Child Care Policy
We have a Child Care Policy that we abide by in order to ensure we are providing a safe environment for your children. One aspect of this policy is that all volunteers must undergo a criminal and sex abuse background check before serving in any capacity with minors.
